Happy Thursday! Today the children discovered that Freddy Frog had no more water in the container. We drew our observations.
Jump, Frog, Jump! was our story today.
We visited our final center for the week. Ask your child which center he/she visited today.
The first center rolled a color die, found a matching bug, and fed it to the frog using tongs. After their frog's belly was full, they graphed how many of each color bug the frog ate.
The second center cut out the parts of a frog and glued them together to create a frog. They also worked on fine motor skills while coloring the parts of a frog.
The third center drew their favorite pond animal. Then they helped write the name of their favorite pond animal.
Then we played.
For snack, we ate a healthy frog snack! Yum!
At closing circle, we did the counting jar.
Don't forget to return the favorite food family projects on Monday for Ms. Anschutz! The family movie night slips are also due on Monday.
Enjoy the weekend! :)
