AM Session - Frog Life Cycle

Happy Monday! Today Ms. Anschutz started her lead week of teaching. At sign-in, the children had to draw what they saw. Later, water was added. The children predicted what would happen. Tomorrow we will take another look and see if any changes occurred.

At circle time, the children listened to the story From Tadpole to Frog. The story introduced the life cycle of a frog.

Then the children went to the table and colored some pictures of the life cycle of a frog. They cut out the pictures and mixed them up. Then they had to sequence the pictures in order from frog eggs all the way to a grown-up frog. These strips were stapled into headbands for the children to wear.

The children enjoyed playing in the classroom.

After snack, the children did the counting jar.

The weekly newsletter for the morning session will come home tomorrow. Ms. Anschutz did not complete it in time to send home with the children today. Sorry for any inconvenience.
