Butterfly Life Cycle

Happy Thursday! Today we started out the day by doing a special project. It's a secret so we can't give away too many details! This project involved listening and following directions, as well as developing spatial skills.

Today we reviewed the life cycle of a butterfly while making a special book. See if your child can read it to you when it comes home!

We also enjoyed playing in the classroom. Several children chose to play "I 'eight' the bug" again.

After snack, we read The Very Hungry Caterpillar and a nonfiction book about butterflies.

We also enjoyed dancing like butterflies with streamers!

There will be a substitute teacher in the classroom next week while I administer the PALS assessment. Please make sure your child gets plenty of rest so that your child can do his/her best on the assessment.
