Catalina Magdalena

Happy Thursday! Today we read a silly story about a girl with a loooooooooooong name! Her name was Catalina Magdalena Hoopensteiner Wallendiner Hogan Logan Bogan Smith. Most of the children said that they would not want to have to write a name that was so long!

We counted the letters in our name and graphed how many letters we have on the SMART Board.

Then we visited our final center for the week. Ask your child which center he/she visited today.

The first center made a name Nn for his/her alphabet book and sorted letters by whether or not they belong in their names.

The second center made a name Chicka Chicka Boom Boom tree to display at school.

The third center made faces to look like themselves after looking in the mirror.

After centers, we played in the classroom and worked on developing our social skills.

In the afternoon session, we celebrated a special birthday. Happy Birthday, Kollin!

After snack, we practiced our songs for the 4K Holiday Program. The children were introduced to another new song today because they are getting so good at the first song!

We also had our first turkey in disguise come in today! It was disguised as Doc McStuffins!

Don't forget that Monday is silly hat day!
