Shapely Pumpkins

Happy Thursday! Today was a silly mixed-up day because it was Picture Day! We had to change our normal routines because of our assigned time for pictures. The children did a great job with this adjustment and remembered their big smiles today! :)

Our story was Spookley the Square Pumpkin. As a special treat, we got to listen to the story on the SMART Board!

For our project, we made our own shape pumpkins to display! Miss McCabe did not draw any lines for us to cut on. Instead, we had to draw our own shapes to cut out. It was tricky! Each pumpkin turned out to be unique.

We got to play in the classroom to work on our social skills.

Of course we also went to the gym to have our individual and class pictures taken.

Next week is parent-teacher conferences. Please note that there may not be a blog post until late as I have conferences scheduled from right after school until after 8 p.m. without even a dinner break each night. Remember to be on time for your conference so we can stay on schedule. I look forward to meeting with you next week.

Don't forget to send your child to school on Monday with appropriate clothing for a walk in the woods (weather permitting).

Have a great weekend! :)
