Grinch Day!

Happy Monday! Today was a fun day in our 4K classroom! Even though we were dressed in green like the Grinch, we were the opposite of Grinchy! :)

Our story today was How the Grinch Stole Christmas! of course! We couldn't have a Grinch Day without reading the story!

We also played a Grinch present counting game on the SMART Board.

Then we played Christmas tree number bingo using m&m's. After winning, we were able to eat the m&m's used on our bingo boards!

After bingo, we ate some delicious treats! Thank you to everyone who contributed to our classroom holiday party! A sign of great treats is a messy face! :)

Then we got to watch ourselves singing on the SMART Board! It was great fun to see what we looked like on stage during the 4K Holiday Program!

Our elf, Jingle, also left us a special present - a grinch movie!

We enjoyed spending the end of our day watching the movie together! The movie was fairly similar to the book, but the children did spot a few differences!

In the morning session, Kylee had a gift for our classroom! We enjoyed looking at all the items for our room! Thank you, Kylee! :)

In the afternoon session, we finally won 5 Class BEAK awards! We voted on the type of party we would like to have. There was a tie between pajama party and pizza party so we will have a pajama and pizza party in the afternoon session after we return from break. Watch your child's folder to find out the day we will have the special party! Way to go, 4K students!
