Today's story was There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly. We read a couple of different versions and realized that some versions included a goat and others did not.
We made our own Old Lady song prop and practiced retelling the story to our friends. See if your child can use his/her song prop to sing the song for you at home tonight!
We enjoyed playing in the classroom.
In the morning session, we celebrated Sophia's birthday. Thank you for the special treats! :)
After snack, we visited the school garden and helped with the planting. Next fall, the children will get to taste some of the foods grown in the school garden!
Tomorrow we may take a walk in the woods (if the weather permits). Please make sure your child has appropriate walking shoes! You also may want to apply bug spray at home before sending your child to school!
Have a great evening! :)
